Adam W. Williams, Therapist
Adam W. Williams, MSW, CSW, is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals thrive and becoming what they see as the best versions of themselves. Adam employs a person-centered approach, tailoring his therapeutic methods to suit each individual’s unique needs and goals. With expertise in Solution-Focused Therapy and a certification in Mind-Body Bridging, Adam brings a holistic perspective to his practice. He is also proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Talk Therapy.
Adam specializes in working with adults aged 18 and above, addressing a range of concerns including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, self-image, substance use, crisis management, and more. Drawing from his diverse experiences, including his military service in the Air Force and the private sector, Adam understands the complexities of life transitions and the importance of resilience.
Originally from Virginia, Adam’s military service has allowed him to live in 11 states and provided the opportunity to explore 85 countries, enriching his perspective and understanding of different cultures. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Radford University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah State University. During his studies, Adam interned with the Cache County School District and the I-System Institute at Utah State University, gaining valuable education and experience.
Adam is currently employed at Clear Recovery of Cache Valley, where he assists folks overcome their Substance Use Disorder. He also works in private practice at Logan Mental Health and Wellness helping address the mental needs of the residences of Cache Valley.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Adam is a devoted husband and proud father of eight children. Together, they run a small farm in Cache Valley, where they raise goats for 4H and FFA, fostering a strong sense of community and connection to the land. Adam’s dedication to his family and his commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges make him a trusted and empathetic therapist.
